Overview

Pergansingan Hill is included in the Mount Rinjani National Park area, the location of the entrance is in East Lombok to be precise in Sembalun village not far from the entrance to Anak Dara and Nanggi Hills

The view offered from the top of Pergansingan is not much different from other hills in Sembalun village, namely the beauty of the view of Mount Rinjani, Sembalun Village, wide and green rice field

The top of this hill is about 1670 masl, but if measured from the surface, the height is only about 900 meters. The hiking trail is not as difficult as other hills, it only takes 1.5 hours for climbers to reach the top by passing a path that is not too steep, to get a sunset at this peak, we will climb no later than 3 pm

Itinerary

Day 1SEMBALUN TO PERGASINGAN HILL

Sembalun to Pergasingan Hill Meet your guide and porter at 2:00 PM in Sembalun. After a briefing, start your trek to Pergasingan Hill. Arrive at the camp area of Pergasingan Hill at 5:00 PM. Enjoy dinner and free time before getting some rest.

Day 2HIKE TO SUMMIT

Wake up at 3:00 AM and prepare to trek to the second summit of Pergasingan Hill. Start your trek to the sunrise point at 4:00 AM. Wait for the sunrise at 4:30 AM. After the sunrise, head back to the camp area and enjoy breakfast. Start your descent back to Sembalun at 8:00 AM. Arrive in Sembalun at 10:30 AM where your tour ends.

CAN I ARRIVE ON LOMBOK AND START MY TREK THE SAME DAY?

You must arrive 1 day before.When you arrive by boat or airline, you must then get to Senaru.This takes too much time.The treks all leave early in the morning directly from Senaru.

HOW DO I GO TO THE BATHROOM?

There are designated spots along the trail.On the rim, your porters will set up a “toilet tent”.

IF I GET HURT?

Your porter and guide will be carrying first aid kits. If you have anything personal that you need such as medication,it’s important that you bring that yourself.Our porters carry radio transmitters to communicate with local safety officials.Our guides are trained in CPR and life saving techniques.You national parks fee includes basic insurance.

WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?

We hike everyday. Weather on Mt. Rinjani is unpredictable and changes often. We do not make predictions on upcoming weather until the same day. We have our own network of information coming directly from the Gunung Rinjani National Park in regards to the weather.
